L. Richard, a native of Jackson, Mississippi,
received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English
from Tougaloo College in 1994. He received his
Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi
and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1997.
Mr. Richard is married to Attorney Carol White
Richard who specializes in criminal law. They
have a son, JaMarcus, and a daughter, Zion.
